“You can’t be a Christian alone. The gospel creates a new community.”

- TIM KELLER
God created you for community. Jesus did not call you to follow Him without others. One of the obvious parts of God's design is that we are created for connection and called to live in community with others.  God said it was not a good thing for Adam to be alone in the beginning.  God called a couple named Abraham and Sarah to head towards a promised land.  God calls out a people to become a nation to represent Him on earth during the Old Testament period of history.  God calls a people together, through Jesus during the New Testament up to now, to walk in community together representing Him and His Kingdom today that we call the Church.  It is clear from the Bible that you cannot become a fully formed disciple of Jesus without learning to live in community with others. We challenge you to make three vital connections that will help you mature in your commitment to follow Jesus.

CONNECT WITH JESUS

Your relationship with God cannot be made right apart from your personal decision to follow Jesus.  It is through Jesus that the death and destruction caused by your sin can be overturned and restored.  Jesus promises a new life free from the penalty and power of sin leading us to an eternity free from the presence of sin.

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" John 14:6

CONNECT WITH A CHURCH

We believe that it is vital for every follower of Jesus to find a local church family they will commit to be actively engaged with.  While different churches have different opinions on church membership, we invite people that feel led by God to commit to being a member of our church.  While church membership does not get you into Heaven, we believe it is a vital connection that every follower of Jesus needs to become fully mature. For us church membership means that you are making three basic commitments: believing, belonging, and becoming.

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25

CONNECT WITH A MISSION

We believe that every follower of Jesus has been called to serve others and make an impact for Him.  God didn't simply save you and put you on a waiting list for Heaven. God has made a significant investment in you and has uniquely created you to make an impact for His Kingdom and His glory in the lives of others.

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." Ephesians 2:10
